CONCIERGE SECRETS

AMW Faves List

Favorite Par 3 – # – 17 – all of the par 3s at Shooting Star are excellent, but the 17th holds a special place in many hearts. Water traces the right side of the hole, while the foothills create a stunning, memorable backdrop.
Favorite Par 4 – #16 – water guards the right side of the fairway from tee to green, shaping both strategy and shot selection. Framed by mountain views and a feeling of pure serenity, it’s a hole that is as enjoyable as it is memorable.
Favorite Par 5 – #3 – a stunning par 5 that flows with the natural terrain and crosses winding streams. A slight dogleg to the right leads to a green nestled beyond the creek, offering a sense of tranquility and peace.
Favorite Hole Design – #8 – a beautiful par 4 that rewards thoughtful shot placement and club selection. Water winds through the hole, subtly testing both your eye and your nerve.
Easiest Hole – #7 – One of the shorter holes on the course, just as picturesque as the rest, and one that offers a genuine opportunity for birdie.
Hardest Hole – #15 – Almost a reverse “C” in shape, with water hugging the curve, this par 5 can be a bear and not the cute kind. It’s a true three-shot hole that demands respect and patience.
Favorite Extra Sighting – the view to Jackson Hole, a moose or bear.
Favorite Apres Golf – hike and Thunder Lift gondola to the top of mountain, drive and hike in the Grand Tetons
Where to Stay – Amangani, Caldera House, Hotel Jackson, Rusty Parrot Lodge and Spa
Where to Eat –  Shooting Star, Teton Thai, Glorietta Trattoria, FIGS, The Kitchen, Dornans (pizza and beer)
