Mastering The Game, Off The Beaten Fairway

Our ten day golf trip took us through the countrysides of Austria, Croatia and Slovenia and off the typical tourist beaten paths. We played courses that were nestled in old forest or amidst vineyards or near the Adriatic Sea, and all gorgeous. Along with the beautiful golf, our lodging and dining choices were elegant and indigenous to our surroundings. We were really able to feel we were getting a taste of the countries we were in and not on some generic golf trip. All of the above would not have been possible without the impeccable planning by our leaders. I didn't have to make one decision because tee times, meal and lodging reservations and all ground transportation were handled by Kristen and Janet without a hitch. In addition, they also arranged extra-curricular activities like the ballet and the Lippizaner horses in Vienna for those of us wanting to go. Their planning was thorough and thoughtful and extremely tasteful in their selections of courses, lodging and restaurants. My goal is to take at least one trip a year planned by them.
