Favorite Par 3 – #13 – a nature walk carved through sycamore trees and native flora leads to an uphill green. What appears gentle from afar reveals far more movement underfoot—subtle contours that only show themselves once you arrive.
Favorite Par 4 – #9 – a true tale of two fairways, this unique hole is split in two and demands a clear decision from the tee. One route challenges a bordering creek, while the other offers only a sliver of safe landing both asking for conviction and precise execution.
Favorite Par 5 – #8 – hard to describe and even rarer to encounter, this hole features a checkerboard of bunkers scattered across the landing area, turning the tee shot into a thoughtful exercise in placement and nerve.
Favorite Hole Design – #4 – Fowler’s signature hole, without question. Hugging the water from tee to green along the right side, the bold line can significantly shorten the hole though it brings a host of hazards of its own.
Easiest Hole – #16 – a short hole with little in the way of hardship. Wide open from the tee, with only a handful of bunkers standing between you and a realistic birdie opportunity.
Hardest Hole – #18 – the closing par 5 neatly sums up the day at Fowler Mills. Steeped in history and thoughtfully designed, it rewards proper shot-making and focus giving you a chance to walk off with a hard-earned old-man par.
