It's AMW Story Time!

Slow down and enjoy the ride,
Let sands of time roll with the tide.
For all who dare to dream of fun,
Grab a few clubs and start at one.

QuickSands gives until the last,
Each hole is better than the one past.
Listen to the music and enjoy the round,
A joyous time with laughter found!

Quicksand is a mixture of fine-grained sand, silt, or clay saturated with water, giving it fluid-like behavior. When disturbed, the water trapped between the grains reduces friction, causing the ground to lose its ability to support weight and making objects sink. It’s a non-Newtonian fluid, meaning it behaves like a semi-liquid at rest but becomes more viscous and resistant when force is applied. Quicksand has captivated imaginations for centuries—from ancient texts to classic comics. Hollywood turned it into a symbol of peril, often more dramatic than reality. Today, it’s less a cinematic trap and more a metaphor for life’s situations that slow us down, entangle us, or feel impossible to escape.
