Golf Beneath the Pines of History
AMW Faves List
Favorite Par 3 – #6 – a beautiful par 3 over “Country Club Lake”. From the tee you have water almost everywhere.
Favorite Par 4 – #18 – risk and reward finishing hole so go big or go home!
Favorite Par 5 – #16 – the “Nelson – Double Eagle” hole – the history alone is enough, but the hole is brilliant!
Favorite Hole Design – #15 – great opportunity of birdie with an old-school design.
Easiest Hole – #17 – reachable by the long hitters and “birdieable” by everyone.
Hardest Hole – #14 – sharp dogleg to the right demands fine shot-making on all shots.
Favorite Extra Sighting – Pictures of Byron Nelson throughout the clubhouse and pro shop.
Favorite Apres Golf – show at the Perot Theatre
