Even if you have not yet been to the Southwest of Ireland, played the likes of Ballybunion, Old Head, Lahinch, Tralee, Adare, or Doonbeg, it is still worth deep consideration to take that first Irish tee shot in the Northwestern part of Ireland. Raw, natural, and (right now) “off the beaten fairway,” teeing it up on some of the most pristine and unforgettable courses in the world will take your golfing spirit to a place only dreams have been. And if you have been to the Southwest, then there really isn’t a conversation to have. To the Northwest we go!

Honestly. Getting to the northwestern part of Ireland is not easy and does take a bit of coordination, but that should not be a deterrent, in fact, it shows just how special it is. Arriving into Dublin, a lovely breakfast will await you before boarding transportation for the three-hour tour of the Irish countryside, en-route to Clifden and the start of your golfing extravaganza. Depending on how everyone is feeling, a quick jaunt through the corner of the Connemara National Park will leave your jaw dropping and your senses tickling. A lovely evening lies ahead, indulging on local Irish fare and staying on the edge of time.

Day 1
Whether you stay at the Ardagh Hotel or the Cashel House (dependent on the group preferences), your afternoon is free for sorting through luggage, getting your gear ready, and perhaps taking a walk around the grounds, lake, or hiking trails. Each venue is set within the majestic landscape of the Connemara forests with flora and fauna framing an absolutely perfect painting. Enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine before heading into dinner, which is just down the hall (or downstairs) from your room. Both venues have world class dining experiences.
A mid-morning tee time at Connemara is in store for tomorrow, so get your rest.
Overnight at Ardagh Hotel or the Cashel House
