Beowulf Golf Club
Minot, North Dakota
Where Imagination Meets the Best of Golf
AMW Faves List
Favorite Par 3 – #11 – it is a bit of a tie, but the 11th gets the nod. The tee shot needs to carry a marsh area and pot bunker before landing on a very unique green.
Favorite Par 4 – #12 – elevation change off the tee, typical of Engh design. Just a magnificent view from above to a green that rests below.
Favorite Par 5 – #14 – another fun and welcoming tee shot arrives at 14. From high above the fairway, the landing area and views are worthy of a picture or two!
Favorite Hole Design – #2 – if you like Jim Engh design, you will love this hole. From an elevated tee box, this par 5 stretches into the distance before taking a turn left and moving uphill.
Easiest Hole – #6 – if you have length in your bag, this hole is for you. Short with a bit of navigation, birdie can be yours.
Hardest Hole – #7 – from any tee box, this par 3 will ask for everything in the bag.
Favorite Extra Sighting – bear claw sand trap
Favorite Apres Golf – Scandinavian Heritage Park
Where to Stay – Grand Hotel, Hyatt House, Hotel Revel
Where to Eat –Beowulf Kitchen & Lounge (in the clubhouse), The Starving Rooster, The White Rabbit Pizza
