Greystone Golf & Country Club Founders Course
Birmingham, Alabama
Where Champions Walk and Traditions Thrive
AMW Faves List
Favorite Par 3 – #14 – it is hard not to pick the signature hole on the Founders. As beautiful as it is fun to play, just stop and appreciate.
Favorite Par 4 – #8
Favorite Par 5 – #13 – a gorgeous design for this par 5 and a perfect chance for risk and reward strategy.
Favorite Hole Design – #18 – showcasing all of the elements, the final hole on the Founders is mesmerizing.
Easiest Hole – #4 – this choice might be debatable as the water left can draw a wayward shot, but a well struck shot to this short hole can allow for birdie.
Hardest Hole – #3 – multiple sources of water seek revenge making this narrow par 4 a menacing and incredibly challenging hole.
Favorite Extra Sighting – water features throughout the course
Favorite Apres Golf – drinks on the deck, walk through the Botanical Gardens
Where to Stay – Elyton Hotel (Marriott Autograph), Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa, Valley Hotel
Where to Eat – Helen, Chez FonFon, Rêve, The Refinery, The Garage
