West to Northwest Ireland

Awwww… the hidden gem of Ireland, just minutes from being truly found. There is more texture to this region of the island than any other.  From forests and wild horses in Connemara to fisherman’s roosts and unblemished countryside near Donegal, it is Mother Nature in all her glory and local flavor bubbling throughout.  Castles, inns, walking trails, ruins, Irish music, lakes, and Gaelic speaking spirits… it is said that “for every star God put in the sky, he tossed a million stones in Connemara alone.  The journey up the coast, along the Wild Atlantic Way, to the boundary of Northern Ireland, and the world of Ireland opens up. So let’s take a trip to misty bogland of Connemara Golf Links to fairytale lands of Rosapenna. Enjoy the journey!

Dublin North & South

Dublin. The capital of the Republic of Ireland and an easy flight from the US and any European city, as well as every global country.  Dating back at least 1000 years, the streets of Dublin are filled with historic lineage, architecture and stories.  It is a city to spend a few days rummaging through the museums, churches, libraries and yes, colorful pubs!  With a vibrant restaurant scene, complete with a few double Michelin Stars, a night on the town with a walk around the Commons, is pure magic.  Experience the words of James Joyce as you wind through the cobblestone paths, peep in the windows of the Georgian townhomes, and walk in the footsteps of Leopold Bloom.  It is a city worth every minute of time, past and present.

Dublin is situated on east side of the country, set beside Dublin Bay in the Irish Sea.

And golf… just wow!  Placing the point of a compass in the center of Dublin, draw that perfect circle up toward Newcastle and Royal County Down (technically Northern Ireland, see here) and around to Brittas Bay and the European Club. Cast your net and take your pick of some of the best golf courses in the Emerald Isle!
