Favorite Par 3 – #9 – simply one of the best par 3s in golf. The Biarritz green preserves the integrity of the hole and creates pin locations that can be incredibly demanding. The ability to hit the ball high and land it softly is essential to scoring well here.
Favorite Par 4 – #3 – referred to as “Blind,” the tee shot can be daunting with water flowing along the right side. A solid drive sets up a short, partially blind approach to the green.
Favorite Par 5 – #18 – simply long and, as a finishing hole, an absolute beast. A slight dogleg off the tee leads to a landing area on an uphill plateau. This is a true three-shot hole and a masterclass in thoughtful, demanding design.
Favorite Hole Design – #9 – it’s hard not to highlight the iconic 9th at Yale GC. The carry over water and the true Biarritz green embody classic old-school design at its finest.
Easiest Hole – #5 – a short par 3 that offers multiple shot options. The plateau green rewards a well-played shot, setting up a genuine chance for birdie.
Hardest Hole – #10 – a blind uphill tee shot demands distance to reach the flats at the top. The second shot plays downhill before rising again to an elevated green, making this hole a true study in controlled chaos.
