Keilir Golf Course
Hafnarfjordur, Iceland
Icelandic Golf at its Wildest and Most Beautiful
AMW Faves List
Favorite Par 3 – #10 – It may be an unconventional way to open the back nine, but here it works beautifully—a striking and memorable beginning that immediately sets the tone for the journey ahead, where beauty, nerve, and precision will be asked for in equal measure.
Favorite Par 4 – #4 – Regarded by many as the signature hole, it’s easy to see why the views alone merit that distinction.
Favorite Par 5 – #16 – The ocean hugs the right side of the fairway, the wind races along the coast—making this hole as testing as it is beautiful.
Favorite Hole Design – #11- Here, where land and sea converge, the game of golf feels just one thread in the larger tapestry.
Easiest Hole – #6 – deserving of respect, this is still a short hole with birdie opportunities abounding.
Hardest Hole – #5 – Crooked, littered with rocks, and at the mercy of the wind, this hole reminds you that beauty and challenge often come hand in hand.
Favorite Extra Sighting – Iceland…plain and simple. Everything around.
Favorite Apres Golf – helicopter tour showcasing Iceland
Where to Stay – Eyja Guldsmeden Hotel, The Reykjavik Edition, 101 Hotel, Ion City Hotel, Hotel Reykjavik Saga
Where to Eat – Fish Markt, Franken, Dill
