Favorite Par 3 – #8 – an elevated tee box funnels the shot into a narrow chute toward the smallest green on the course. Club selection is critical, as holding the putting surface is anything but easy.
Favorite Par 4 – #18 – it would be crazy not to consider the finishing hole among the best you’ll ever see. Packed with bold design features, it uses a waterfall and pond to create a dramatic, memorable finale.
Favorite Par 5 – #11 – this dogleg right par 5 demands a solid tee shot to give you any chance of reaching the green in two. With an island green waiting, the safer and often smarter play is to lay up and rely on a precise third shot.
Favorite Hole Design – #7 – an inviting attempt at the green in two, it takes a pair of well-struck, well-crafted shots to clear both streams and earn a clean approach. It’s like threading a needle but it can be done.
Easiest Hole – #14 – a reachable par 5 with only a lone cross bunker lurking short of the green. An oak tree stands guard along the right side of the fairway, ready to collect any wayward shot. Birdie is in the bag.
Hardest Hole – #5 – this dogleg left tempts you to cut the corner, though the hole opens more generously to the right. Sweeping mountain views frame the shot, making the walk as spectacular as the hole itself.
Favorite Extra Sighting – the horses on surrounding properties.
Favorite Apres Golf – drive through Topanga Canyon.
