Favorite Par 3 – #13 – long and picturesque, this hole plays beautifully over Lake Kadijah, its line and landing areas thoughtfully guarded by artistic bunkering that demands both confidence and precision.
Favorite Par 4 – #16 – to survive the 16th hole, accuracy is everything. This dogleg demands you hit defined targets on every shot, starting with a narrow landing area off the tee and finishing with an approach heavily guarded by both lake and sand.
Favorite Par 5 – #5 – a wonderfully designed, and now redesigned, hole that showcases the famous split-rail fence running along the fairway. With out-of-bounds to the left and a slew of bunkers to the right, a properly placed tee shot is key.
Favorite Hole Design – #17 – it’s hard not to choose one of the most iconic holes in golf, now redesigned to be even more spectacular. From the tee, the shot carries over the serenity of Lake Kadijah to a green pockmarked by bunkers, requiring every bit of courage you can muster.
Easiest Hole – #15 – there are no “easy” holes on Medinah No. 3, but if one offers a genuine chance at birdie, the 15th might be it.
Hardest Hole – #7 – this hole might not look like much from the tee, but its length and demanding approach into the green will test even the lowest of handicaps. Smart strategy is the key to success here.
Favorite Extra Sighting – walk around the clubhouse for historic photos.
Favorite Après Golf – drinks on the terrace, play one of the other courses.
